Anthony Oliver

Anthony T. Oliver is an educator with a background in Facilities Management and Commercial construction. Prior to joining the Commission, he worked for Federal Realty Investment Trust as a Project Coordinator, helping to develop commercial properties such as The Village at Shirlington, Rockville Town Square, and the Westpost (formerly Pentagon Row).

Anthony has also worked for the Council of Social Work of Education (CSWE) as an Office Manager. He was responsible for the construction development, relocation of staff and reopening of the new office, collaborating with contractors and vendors to ensure that CSWE would receive the best services. He was responsible for hosting and supporting events such as the (APM) Annual Program Meeting, a structured event designed to help college students and social workers to obtain the resources they need to further their education. 

Anthony currently serves as the Senior Pastor of Mt. Jezreel Baptist Church in Alexandria, Virginia. He was called to serve as Pastor in 2010 and installed on April 17, 2011. He is licensed to perform marriages and teach Theology. He is recognized and serves as a Clinical Professor at Cornerstone Community College of Virginia, where he has earned his Master of Religious Education Degree. He is currently working on his Doctor of Theology Degree.
